Five sessions offered

Addressing Antisemitism on Campus & Social Media

Ideal audience: Teens, College Students, Parents In this interactive workshop we unpack what antisemitism looks like today, how to identify it, and practical ways to respond—both online and in real life. Together we’ll analyze recent examples from October 7 and beyond, explore multiple response strategies (from direct engagement to mental-health safeguards), and leave with concrete steps for making a positive difference.

How to Have Courageous Conversations About Israel

Ideal audience: Adults, Educators, Lay Leaders Constructive dialogue about Israel can feel impossible—whether within the Jewish community or across ideological lines. This session introduces key mind-sets and skills for bridging divides: active listening, curiosity-first questioning, and values-based framing. Participants will practice these tools and walk away ready to lead more honest, respectful, and productive conversations on the issues that matter most.

Where Do Jews Come From? (Short Film Screening + Q&A)

Ideal audience: Grades 7-12, Adults Experience a screening of Unpacked’s short film “Are Jews Indigenous to Israel?”—part of the new Israel 101 series. Guided by YouTube host Yirmiyahu Danzig’s family story, the film traces the Jewish people’s ancient roots and ongoing connection to the land of Israel. After viewing, Education Associate Yoni Buckman will lead a Q&A on diaspora, resilience, and the enduring bond between Jews and their homeland.

Teaching Israel & Zionism Across Grade Levels

Ideal audience: Day School & Supplementary-School Educators Designed for day-school and supplementary-school faculty, this professional-development session walks educators through Unpacked for Educators’ best-in-class resources. Yoni Buckman will share age-appropriate lesson frameworks, sample activities, and guiding principles for proactive, nuanced Israel education from early elementary through high school.

Teaching Israel at Camp

Ideal audience: Camp Directors, Educators, and Staff Planning Summer 2025? Discover ready-to-use Unpacked resources that bring Jewish history, Zionism, and Israeli culture to life in the bunk, at flagpole, or around the campfire.
