Michael Valdes is a New York–based writer and multidisciplinary storyteller creating work across stage, screen, and digital platforms focused on culture, media, and contemporary Jewish identity. He is the founder of Hot Jewish Energy, a platform bringing Jewish perspectives into conversations surrounding pop culture, entertainment, and online discourse. His work explores how identity, politics, and internet culture shape the stories we consume. He is also the writer of ANEMONE, a contemporary play set in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks in Israel.
