The IDF eliminated Hezbollah’s top military commander, Fuad Shukr, in an airstrike on Beirut Tuesday, in response to the recent rocket attack on Majdal Shams that killed 12 children.
At least 12 children were killed after Hezbollah fired a rocket at a soccer field in the Druze town of Majdal Shams Saturday, the deadliest single attack on Israel since Oct. 7.
Hezbollah is now launching dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of rockets and drones toward Israel on a daily basis, and Israel is striking deeper into Lebanon.
